@Griffin Gooch and I, and some friends here on Substack, are gearing up for a Lenten collab on the Deadly Seven. Some of the reasons you mention here for not bringing kiddos into the world sound a bit like Sloth/Acedia. The living don't believe in living, maybe. If so, that's disheartening.

One thing I’d add is the fact that the west acts out a guilt-innocence (and now pleasure-pain) matrix, has way more to do with the west’s blindness to honor, rather than the actual adoption a new matrix. The guilt-innocence (and now pleasure-pain) matrixes inevitably end up as social status games, revealing that they are a veneer for a honor-shame matrix with a different moral system.
Just my thoughts, but hopefully my comment will direct some attention your way
